Gauging Out my Eyes

I recently went to a certain cinema whose name i shall not mention over the weekend. Lets just for the sake of conversation call this cinema MT. Now the usual price of admission for this establishment is usually $35 TT, but up on a flyer there was posted that the price of admission had gone up by $5 TT to $40. Ok, fine, inflation,costs are going up, it was just five dollars, I was hungry and really wanted to see a movie ..... watever....... fine. Pulled out my bank card, proceeded to pay the clerk for myself and my date, and low and behold, a fat bill of $90 came up.
Whaaaaat ?!?! ........... is MT crazy

This is the justification: MT is now charging you an entry cost of $5, For "Security" reasons just to enter into the concession area of the establishment, AND also the movie price which has increased to $40 .

But heres the catch, you can't enter the concession area without a movie ticket anyway !!
Does that make any sense???

Please don't insult my intelligence. if you want to raise your prices by ten whole dollars, just do that, don't break up the cost so it looks less vicious.

I mean, what am i paying a security cost for anyway......... its not like their security benefits my black ass anyway !!! ......all the security there does is search girls hand bags for, i dunno, maybe some video recording tampons or something, and harrass you when u trying to get back into the movie after you've bought your pop-corn from their own cafeteria, (a cafeteria you couldn't even get into in the first place without a movie ticket!!! .......... the same ticket they bug u for when u going back to the movie......)

MT really needs to get a grip !!! ......... do you know that if you go there in a sleevless, they tell you you can't go in. And, they only tell you this AFTER you've bought the ticket, AND you can't refund the ticket.

But here's the coupe de grand; and trust me, i'm not even mad enough to make this up, its absolutely true to the 9th power.

If youv'e bought a ticket, in a sleevless, and can't refund it ........ they offer you the option to RENT .... yes i repeat RENT a shirt from them for $5 ...... ha ha ha ha ha

An old, musty, moth ridden T-shirt that you know 10 other men who were in ur position wore b4 you that you KNOW they eh washing just so!!

Watever yes, they want to have an establishment so exclusive that nobody could get into ..... and yuh know whats the sad part....... ppl gonna being rushing to go there still

Trinidadians need to stop taking shit from these places and make places such as MT really be MT (empty......... for your'll slow ppl)


Yuh see me, i buying my$2.99 bag of microwaveable popcorn, a $10 DVD from the shop on the corner, and i relaxing my ass at home yes !!
