Globalization

I was looking at the news tonight, and they had some random story about starving bushmen in Africa. I wasn't really paying attention, i just glanced at the screen and heard one or two lines.

Well anyway, these starving bushmen in Africa were hunting with these real lame bow and arrows, wearing their grass skirts etc. (No i'm not trying to be condecending or steorotypical, they really had grass skirts and bows and arrows....... and the bows WERE lame..... )

And then they showed a clip of the village, mud huts, dust, the works

and then these kids came out, and some were wearing jerseys and more modern clothes

and you just know those jerseys were made in some province in China (cuz thats where jersey's come from)

and i couldn't help but thinking ...... damn, thats the height of GLOBALIZATION

i was actually a bit dissappointed ......... is there nothing natural left in this world ??

anyway...... i know this story is lame ........ but who cares
